What is LifeExp.exe?
The LifeCam is a Webcam from Microsoft for home PC users available in various models. Its special features include an embedded microphone and integration with Windows Live Messenger, thus enabling direct Internet support. Overview
lifeexp.exe executes as a process with the local user's privileges. It is set to be start when the PC boots and any user logs into Windows (added to the Run registry key for the all users under the local machine). It has been configured with a firewall exception which allows both inbound and outbound network communication without being blocked. It is installed with a couple of know programs including Microsoft LifeCam published by Microsoft Corporation, Windows Live Mesh ActiveX Control for Remote Connections from Microsoft Corporation and Windows Live Mesh ActiveX Control for Remote Connections by Microsoft Corporation.
