The NVIDIA Driver Helper Service is used in configuring a PC's NVIDIA drivers for video graphics cards. They provide the ability to override OpenGL refresh rates through via NVIDIA Control Panel in the display properties.

nvvsvc.exe runs as a service under the name NVIDIA Driver Helper Service (NVSvc) with extensive SYSTEM privileges (full administrator access). The assembly utilizes the .NET run-time framework (which is required to be installed on the PC).
