What is nvvsvc.exe?

The Driver Helper Service is used in configuring a PC's GPU driver and provides the ability to override OpenGL refresh rates through via Control Panel in the display properties. It also provides functionality to manage the GPU's refresh rates via the built-in refresh forcer utility. It is called the 'NVIDIA Display Driver Service' in the Windows service controller.
